Unlike other team building challenges, our games are on-demand, allowing everyone to participate anytime, anywhere and on any device.
What will participants learn from the games & challenges?
Everyone will realise their creativity and the creativity of their team. They will practice many creative skills during the games, including collaboration, gamified problem-solving, finding problem-solution fit, reimagining & repurposing, mixing & matching ideas, making associations, blue sky thinking and more. After the challenges, we will send your host a learning outcomes presentation for all participants to understand the benefits of each game.
How would we get participants excited about the challenges?
Scheduled fun days work great. Either a one-off Fun Friday or a number of challenges themed around a Creativity Week or Innovation Month. Click here for ideas.
How many people can participate in the challenges?
As many as you like – from ten to hundreds, even thousands. We recommend 3-5 people per team. Each team submits one idea per challenge, and participants will vote individually for their favourite ideas from the list of submissions.
Any suggestions on how to allocate people to teams?
It’s totally up to you. The key is that this is a fun event. The games & challenges are a great way to foster diversity & inclusion across job role, job location, gender, age, culture, personality, interests etc.
How do I decide which challenge is best for my organisation?

Why would I customise a challenge for my own organisation?
The standard challenges are fun and playful, with a focus on everyday things. However, we can easily customise these challenges to tailor your specific organisational activities, resources and core competencies. The outcome of the customised games & challenges are diverse ideas and solutions that might be of value to your organisation.
Is there much work involved in hosting a challenge?
No. We have made this process really straightforward for you by providing email templates to send your staff before, during and after the games. All you need to do is schedule the day or days you want your people to play the games and then send the participants 3 emails; one with a unique link to the challenge, another with a unique link to the voting card and a final one with a unique link to the results.
What support is available to the host throughout?
Our customer success team is on hand throughout to help and support the host in any way, at any time.
Who is the best person in my organisation to host a challenge?
Honestly, it’s so easy that anyone can do it. However, the more senior the person who sends it, the more engagement. We suggest the CEO, Head of People or someone involved with innovation.
How does the host get started? Is there an online demo?

How much does it cost to host a challenge?
A standard challenge is €1,000, whereas a customised challenge is €2,000. There is a 20% discount on subsequent challenges. A member of our sales team would also be happy to discuss packages based on bulk.
What about digital badges?
Each participant will receive a digital badge upon successful completion of each challenge, as shown below. This badge can be added to their LinkedIn account, if they wish.

Fergal Brophy is a creativity & innovation specialist at UCD Innovation Academy, University College Dublin. He is adjunct lecturer and programme lead on Public Sector Innovation at Institute of Public Administration. He also has his own consultancy practice at fergalbrophy.com. Fergal helps Corporates, small-to-medium enterprises and the public sector to create new or significantly improved products, services, ways of working & business models. Fergal’s sons Jack and Ben are responsible for business development/customer success & design/digital marketing respectively.
